What Is
Hospice?
It’s common for people to associate hospice care with someone who may be in their final weeks of life. However, hospice is much more than end-of-life care—it can be appropriate for people at different stages of their journey as they navigate life-limiting illnesses or conditions.
Hospice care is not centered on being curative—the goal is to bring comfort, dignity, and support to a patient and their family. We are focused on tending to their immediate physical needs, as well as their overall emotional and spiritual well-being during an incredibly vulnerable time.
